Tarata Pictures

Much thanks to Richard and Kristen for letting me take some of their pictures since I'm a bonehead and forgot my memory card on the trip.

Tarata is the sausage capital of Bolivia. This is the common form of accessing said sausages. It didn't look like was the only thing you getting either. We helped Kristen to resist temptation.

The makings of some good chicha. We were told that the grain was set out to dry before being fermented. It was quite an operation.

Outside of the Franciscan Convent. From left to right: Rick, Ruth, Me, Ginny, Claudia

Our tourguide, Lorenz, and the Bolivian woman is Ginny's housekeeper Claudia.

Ruth and I in the chicha sanctuary. They brewed chicha in the big vases in the background. There are also upturned toilets they will use in the renovations.
