I've received much feedback on the hail comment. I decided to take some pictures of the room adjecent to mind to illustrate how such a thing would be possible. These are three different corners of the room and as you can see there is plenty of space for hail to sneak in, especially if the wind is blowing like it was the other night.
Also, as a result of all the rain...
I thought that they were bedbugs at first but Betty said that it was because I kept my window open at night and she put a mess screen of tul (the ballerina fabric) over it and I haven't gotten any new bites. They are gross and annoying though.
